Encryption
Four levels of protection. You pick per meeting.
Every call is encrypted and runs on your servers. For the meetings that matter most, you go further, all the way to a meeting that leaves no trace.

Encrypted in transit
Media is encrypted with DTLS-SRTP between every participant and the server, the same media encryption every major WebRTC platform uses.

Direct between participants
A one-to-one call connects directly between the two participants where the network allows it, and doesn't touch the server at all.

Only your server in the path
Audio and video go through one server, and it's yours. Nobody outside your organisation has access. That includes us.
Board and crisis meetings
No-trace mode, end-to-end encrypted
Audio and video are encrypted on the participants' own devices and the server only ever sees ciphertext. Nothing can be recorded, nothing can be transcribed and nobody can join from a phone line. Built for a small circle of up to about 20 people: the board, the leadership team, a crisis unit.
Everyday meetings run with recording and a retention policy you set per room. The meetings that must leave nothing behind switch to no-trace mode with one click. Your call, meeting by meeting.

Data stays in your network, calls are encrypted, access is controlled, every join is audited and exportable, and recordings follow retention rules. Those are the controls the standards ask for. A certificate goes to an organisation, though, not to software, so whether you comply comes down to your processes. That's where we come in.

The Record button in a meeting starts x-minutes, our Mac app, on the participant's own computer. The transcript and the notes are written by a language model running on that computer, so the text of the meeting goes nowhere.

Questions about Lumenax Meet
Is Lumenax Meet end-to-end encrypted?
Every call is encrypted in transit with DTLS-SRTP. One-to-one calls connect directly between participants where the network allows it. Group calls go through the server, which runs on your own infrastructure. For board and crisis meetings you switch on no-trace mode: end-to-end encryption, no recording, no transcription and no phone dial-in, for up to about 20 people.
Where does it run and who can access the data?
On your servers or in your data centre. Media, metadata and recordings stay in your network. Lumenax isn't in the path of your calls, so we have no access to them.
Can we record meetings?
Today a participant records with x-minutes on their own Mac, and the transcript and notes are made locally. Server-side recording is on the roadmap.
How does an outside guest join?
You send an invitation to one room with an expiry date. The guest waits in the lobby until someone from your organisation admits them. A guest can't moderate or record and is marked as a guest to everyone in the call. You can revoke an invitation at any time.
Does Meet comply with ISO 27001, GDPR and SOC 2?
Meet meets the technical requirements: data in your network, encryption, access control, an exportable audit log and retention rules. Certification goes to an organisation, not to software, so the rest depends on your processes. We supply a data processing agreement and documentation, and we'll prepare you for the ISO 27001 audit if you want.
What does it cost?
It depends on the number of users and how it's deployed. After a short call we send a proposal.
