Transcribed on your Mac, with no internet connection. Czech and Slovak are supported, as are English and other languages.
Notes from a local AI
A summary, decisions, action items with owners, and open questions, written by a language model running on your computer. Every item carries a timecode you can check against the recording.
You and them, separately
Your microphone and the other side are recorded as two tracks, so the transcript shows clearly what you said and what they said.

What stays on your computer
The transcript is the sensitive part. Audio is hard to search, text isn't. That's why x-minutes processes it locally.
No local model? You can have the notes written by a cloud model instead. x-minutes tells you plainly, before it happens, that the transcript is leaving your computer.

In Lumenax Meet, the Record button starts x-minutes on the participant's computer, named after the meeting. Where end-to-end encryption is on, this is the one place the audio can legitimately be captured.

FAQ
Questions about x-minutes
Does the recording or transcript leave my computer?
No. The recording and transcript stay on your Mac. With a local model such as Ollama installed, the notes are written there too. Without one you can choose a cloud model for the notes, and x-minutes tells you beforehand that the transcript will leave your computer.
Does it work with Teams, Zoom and Google Meet?
Yes. x-minutes records the audio of whatever app is making the call, including calls in the browser. It doesn't need a plugin or a bot in the meeting.
Does it understand Czech and Slovak?
Yes. Czech and Slovak are transcribed with a local Whisper model, English with the transcription built into macOS. Everything runs on the device.
Will others know I'm recording?
x-minutes records audio only, so other participants won't see a notification from the call app. That's why recording is always visible to you and auto-record is off by default. Getting participants' consent is your responsibility, and we recommend telling them at the start of the call.
Is there a Windows version?
Not yet. x-minutes is macOS only for now.
What will it cost?
