What is a WMS

A WMS (Warehouse Management System) is warehouse software that runs receiving, putaway, picking and shipping of goods. It records exactly where everything sits and guides warehouse staff step by step.

Warehouse software that isn't connected to the rest of the company only shows half the truth. Reservations from orders, receipts from purchasing and consumption in manufacturing belong in the same database.

How the whole ERP system works →

How the rollout works

From fit-gap analysis to go-live in four to twelve weeks.

01

Fit-gap analysis

We walk through your processes and write down for each one whether the system covers it with configuration, with a change, or not at all. You keep the result.

02

Setup and data

We configure modules, roles and permissions, move data over from your current system and prepare a test environment.

03

Trial run

Key people work in a test copy with their own data. We fix things until it fits.

04

Go-live and operations

We switch over in a quiet period and keep looking after the system under the package you chose.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a WMS?

A WMS is warehouse software that runs receiving, putaway, picking and shipping. It records exactly where everything sits and guides warehouse staff step by step.

What's the difference between inventory software and a WMS?

Inventory software tracks quantities. A WMS also controls where goods sit and how they move: locations, picking, packing and shipping.

Does it support barcode scanners?

We handle scanners in the fit-gap analysis, depending on your type of warehouse and devices. The system always records product and location barcodes.

Can you connect an e-shop?

Yes. Odoo has its own e-shop, and we connect to third-party e-shops through the API so orders and stock sync by themselves.

How much does a warehouse system cost?

You don't pay for Odoo licenses. We quote the rollout as a fixed price after the fit-gap analysis, operations 137 EUR a month, support from 499 EUR and the Partner package from 1,399 EUR a month, always plus the service fee for user accounts.
