Odoo is a modular business system (ERP) with open source code. It has apps for CRM, sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, accounting, projects, attendance and web, all sharing one database. It comes in two versions: open source Odoo is free under the LGPL-3 license, while Enterprise is paid per user.
Odoo on its own is a set of building blocks. What separates a system people work around from one they actually use is setting it up for how the business runs. That's our job.

This calculator covers the monthly running cost. The one-off rollout and data migration are in the implementation calculator.
Why pay per account if the license is free? Every user means work for us: support, creating and removing access, permission reviews, training and account security. We charge for that work, not for a license, which is why a light user costs less than a full one.
A module is an add-on that adds or changes system behavior beyond configuration. For example company lookup in ARES, a link to your e-shop or bank, or custom order approval. Configuration is not a module: custom fields, stages, reports, e-mail templates and automated actions set up by clicking in the system are included.
A module costs from 44 EUR a month. The fee covers their upkeep: with every new system version we have to test and port them so they keep working.
A custom solution, say your own production planning or a customer portal, usually consists of several modules and we quote it separately after the fit-gap analysis. You get the price up front, not on the invoice.
Fit with your operations
Boxed ERP makes you change your processes to fit the software. We set our system up around how you really work, from large trading firms to manufacturers.
An estimate from our projects and migrations, not an independent study. Companies close the gap to 100% with spreadsheets, e-mails and retyping, and that's where time gets lost and mistakes creep in.

FAQ
Yes. Open source Odoo is under the LGPL-3 license and there's no per-user fee. You pay for the rollout work and for running the server, not for licenses.
Both editions share the same core. Enterprise adds paid apps and support from Odoo and is charged per user, 33.90 EUR a month on odoo.com with monthly billing. The open source version is free, and missing features are filled in with OCA community modules or custom development.
Enterprise licenses would come to 12,204 EUR a year with monthly billing (30 × 33.90 EUR × 12), or 10,044 EUR with a one-year commitment. On open source Odoo it's 0 EUR for licenses. With us you pay a fixed-price rollout and operations 137 EUR a month, support from 499 EUR and the Partner package from 1,399 EUR a month, always plus the service fee for user accounts.
Yes, with Czech configuration: the chart of accounts and taxes come from the l10n_cz localization, and our module adds the VAT return and the VAT control statement (kontrolní hlášení) as XML for EPO. We recommend keeping payroll in a payroll program and exporting attendance from Odoo into it.
OCA (Odoo Community Association) is a non-profit community that develops and maintains hundreds of open source modules for Odoo. We use them for reports, helpdesk, security management, documents and other areas.
Yes. The system runs on a dedicated server in the EU that we manage, or on yours. Either way you have access to the database and the backups.
Users praise Odoo for the breadth of its apps and its modern interface. The criticism is mostly about rollouts: without good configuration, people work around the system. That's why we start with a fit-gap analysis and a trial run on your data.
